    To enroll in the Sterling Value Added program, you must be a Sterling health plan enrollee.

    The products and services described within the Sterling Value Added section of our website are neither offered nor guaranteed under the Sterling Life Insurance Company contract with the Medicare program, but are made available to all enrollees who are members of Sterling.

    These products and services are not subject to the Medicare appeals process. Any disputes regarding these products and services may be subject to the Sterling Life Insurance Company grievance process.

    Should a problem arise with any value-added item or service, please call Sterling Life Insurance Company for assistance at 1-866-591-9121. Our customer service hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, CST.

    Discounts provided under this program apply only towards those benefits not covered by Medicare, or for which applicable Medicare benefits have been fully exhausted.

    This is NOT a health insurance policy. The plan provides discounts at certain health care providers of medical services. The plan does not make payments directly to the providers of medical services. The plan member is obligated to pay for all health care services but will receive a discount from those health care providers who have contracted with the discount plan organization. This plan is administered by Best Benefits, Inc., (a discount medical plan organization) at 8420 W. Bryn Mawr, Suite, 700, Chicago, IL 60631, 1-800-308-0374. You have the right to cancel this agreement within 30 days of the effective date for a full refund of fees paid.
