Sterling Life Insurance Company Names Dan Bridges Regional Manager

Bellingham, Wash. - February, 2003 - - Sterling Life Insurance Company has selected Dan Bridges, an experienced executive in the insurance industry, to be Regional Manager. In this position, Bridges is responsible for sales and agent recruiting for Sterling offices in Central and East Tennessee, North and East Texas, East Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Ohio, and Southwest Louisiana.

Bridges' experience spans 25 years in the insurance industry, including his most recent position, Director of Agencies with United American Insurance (UA). During his seven-year tenure with UA, he launched two markets that were exceptionally successful in their first years, earning top market honors.

In 1999 and 2001, Bridges served as a member of the UA President's Council, an elite group selected for consistent excellence in field management throughout the country. His other positions have included Executive Director of the Children's Hope Foundation, Regional Director of the Penn Mutual Insurance Company, President of Financial Dynamics-East in North Carolina and Director of Training for Reserve Life Insurance Company.
